The 2019 Florida Democratic Party Convention will be held the weekend of October 11-13 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

We can make delegate appointments for Democrats who want to attend on behalf of the DPCF.  If you're interested, you must submit a signed and dated delegate form and the cost is $45 (goes to the Florida Democratic Party).

First, complete the delegate form.  You can use fill it out on your computer using Adobe Reader or your favorite PDF program, then print, sign, scan (or take a picture), and email it to me at president@progressivefl.org.  That's the best option, but if you prefer to mail the form, please send it to:

This fall, we will begin streamlining and updating our DPCF platform in preparation for 2020.  We need volunteers who are ready to work and available for monthly conference calls (times TBD based on members).  Our platform is one of the DPCF's defining features and we want to make it even better.  

Mary Hope Schwoebel, our Platform Committee Chair, is looking for new members to join the committee to expand participation and include fresh perspectives.  Platform committee members are not expected to be experts in everything, but should have expertise or interest in particular topics.  If you're interested in serving on the Platform Committee, please let us know by August 30th.
