Polk County Democrats to Hold All-Star Barbeque FUNraiser at the home of Debra Wright, candidate for Florida Senate District 22
Saturday, October 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
2575 Gerber Dairy Road, Winter Haven, FL
The star-studded event will feature Brigadier General Carlos Martinez, USAF Ret., Kenneth E. Rigmaiden, General President of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, and Joe Gibbons, Vice Chairman of the Florida Democratic Party.
Also scheduled to attend are Democratic candidates from across Polk County. They include: State Senator Darren Soto, candidate for US House of Representatives, District 9; Jim Lange, candidate for US House of Representatives, District 15; April Freeman, candidate for US House of Representatives, district 17.
Plus, candidates for the Florida House of Representatives, Victor Sims, District 39; Dr. Shandale Terrell, District 40; Bob Doyel, District 41; and, Dr. Benny Valentin, District 42.
Democratic candidate for the Tenth Circuit Public Defender’s Office, Tonya Stewart will attend the event hosted by Florida Senate candidate Debra Wright, who looks to unseat her opponent is the the newly drawn District 22.
A picnic-style meal will be served that includes pork, and chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob, green beans, and dinner rolls. Admission is $15 per individual, or $25 per couple.
