It's been another successful month for FDP! Here are some highlights:
Earlier this month, the Florida Democratic Party State Executive Committee overwhelmingly passed a resolution to refuse donations from private prison systems. We are taking a stand and sticking by our convictions!
Florida Democrats have launched a statewide tour with our local elected and community leaders, pushing for Medicaid expansion to cover the more than 800,000 of people who would gain access to health care.
This month we are expanding our rural, Puerto Rican and African American outreach with events happening across the state. Stay tuned for emails or check Mobilize for events near you.

Record Number of Democratic Candidates in 2018
As the deadline for candidate qualifying came and went, one thing became clear. 2018 will be different. This year, there are a record-breaking number of Democratic candidates in Florida. In many districts across Florida, voters will have a choice for the first time. Making this news even more exciting is the fact that a large number of the candidates are first time candidates.
