DPCF 2018 Conference
May 18-20 in Gainesville at the University of Florida - Registration for the 2018 DPCF Conference is now open on Eventbrite
Please note that the business meeting is free; however we must charge for the conference. We've planned some great training sessions, and lunch and a light breakfast will be served on Saturday. Members get a $10 price break, so we encourage non-members to click the link and join now!
At the business meeting, we will be revising the DPCF Bylaws and the Platform, as well as approving the budget. We will also review and vote on the proposed Constitutional Amendments that will be on the November ballot.
We will accept Resolutions that are aligned with our Platform (current and revised). Resolution proposals must be submitted by Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 6:00 PM and must follow the attached format.Conference
Friday - The Florida Progressives Political Committee will host a candidate meet and greet fundraiser at the hotel. For more information about the PAC, which will give financial support to progressive state and local candidates, please check out the website and donate!
Saturday - Caucus business meeting, workshops, dinner with special guest speaker (separate ticket required)

The DPCF has a room block at the Wyndham Garden Gainesville for a low rate of $119/night. Some conference activities including Saturday's dinner will be held on-site at the hotel.

Florida Democratic Party News
April 13-15, 2018 - The Democratic County Chairs Association (DCCA) Conference in Orlando at the Rosen Centre.
FDP Committees and Caucuses will meet throughout the weekend, and the Party will provide training sessions on Saturday. Our caucus meeting is tentatively set for Saturday at 5:00 PM. This will be an informational meeting about the DPCF and our upcoming conference. It will not be a business meeting. Registered Democrats may attend all meetings and trainings. Rooms at the Rosen Centre sold out several weeks ago, but there are hotel rooms available nearby.
On Sunday morning, April 15th, the Executive Committee will meet to vote on proposed rules/bylaws changes. Several of our members participated in the Ad Hoc committee that developed these proposals. You can read them here. Thank you!
FDP Leadership Blue Weekend
June 29-July 1, 2018 - FDP Leadership Blue in Hollywood at The Diplomat Beach Resort
This is the state party's largest fundraising event. Again, there will be committee and caucus meetings, training sessions and parties during the weekend. The DPCF will purchase a table when tickets go on sale. The FDP rate at the hotel is $229 per night, plus a resort fee of $30 and taxes. More details to follow.
